ABOUT MADS
Hey Quilt Fans!
So you want to know more about me...here are the cliff notes

I went to school to be a civil engineer and ran that gig for about 10 years. It was just meh...
When the infamous year of 2020 hit I got my Oma's (that is grandma in German) Bernina 830 Record sewing machine out and busted out some YouTube videos to learn how to thread the machine. I made a mask but I was HOOKED and wanted to make any and everything I possibly could from that moment forward.

Flash forward a few months and I was gifted a family friend's entire quilt room (like the desk, cabinets, notions, ALL of it) and her barley touched Bernina 550 QE and Bernina Serger. Lovingly named after my Oma, Annie, and the family friend, Sandy, my new machines got busy fast!

I discovered the love that was my local quilt shop in the Cotton Patch Quilt Shop in University Park Florida. Since covid was running a muck I was stuck peering in the windows longingly. Until one day....I asked for a weekend job doing computer work. Next thing I knew I WAS IN THE SHOP and getting to touch fabric and notions and it was a dream come true!

I kept learning and taking opportunities in the industry and now we are here...I am sharing my skill for helping quilt shops in simple ways that make big impacts! I have a huge heart for the quilting world and I want to share that in any way I can!
